Troubleshooting error 30102-11
Cause for error code 30102-11:
1. Conflict with previous version of Office Suite installed, causing Windows registry and file corruption.
2. Intended or unintended termination of the Office installation, causing Windows registry and file corruption.
3. Malware, Virus or other security threats in the machine preventing the application from being installed, causing Windows registry and file corruption.
4. Third-party applications installed in the machine interfering the Office Suite.
Resolution for 30102-11:
1. Performing quick repairing the installation
a. Go to Control Panel
b. Search and locate the Office Suite
c. Select the installed Office version
d. Click on Change
e. Click on Quick Repair
f. Wait for the repair to finish.
g. Click on Finish once the repair is done.
h. Ignore any options to restart the computer.
i. Check if the issue is fixed.
2. Scan for threats:
a. Scan for the entire machine with your anti-virus, spyware or Internet security software.
b. Once the scan is complete, remove all the threats.
c. Ignore any options to restart the computer.
d. Download Malwarebytes and scan the computer in quick mode to see if there are any threats listed.
e. If listed, removing it will not solve the issue, do not restart the computer. We need to replace the files which are quarantined.
