So how long should a grudge last. I have learned to let things go and you can not change people. I have a step mother that does not want to let things go. It has been over 20 years and I know that I have changed. She does not seem to see that. With this new year, I am done biting my tongue. I held in for far too long. Things are going to be said and I really do not care anymore. Life is life. I have my husband, and my child and our 2 furbabies and that is all I need and want. But, there is always something there that seems to bring my father back into my life. Only for a day or so and he always seems to say the right things that make you believe that he will follow through on what he says but he never does.
