Makes you think sometimes is it real or is it a matrix a life pulled before our eyes and most are oblivious and our dreams might be the reality. your thoughts?

there is a philosophy from socrates or plato (not really sure) that is really similar to the matrix theory. It's a called the Allegory of the Cave. Basically there are prisoners in a cave that are chained and restrained to a wooden board since birth. There is a candle light puppet show displayed for them, and thier sole entertainment or purpose in life is to guess what object the shadow represents. Then one prisoner is freed to climb the jagged rocks toward the ligh at the mouth of the cave to be blinded by the sun. When he gets adjusted to the sun he sees the world as it truly is and goes back to tell the others. He sees the objects dislayed in front of the candles as he desend, noticing it resembles nothing like its shadow. He tells the others the world outside and the true shape of the shadow objects but no one believes him. Some details are probably wrong but thats the gist of it.

Do you get it though? I'm not 100% positive, so don't quote me. I think it means, there are different levels of perspectives, some more accurate than others. We are the prisoners, and the things we see in life are mere shadows on the wall. Poor recreations of the actual objects. I've attached a picture that kinda explains it.

I think sometimes we feel like we're in the matrix because our lives feel trapped by society, but just remember that we are all part of a neverending story (lol i know that didnt make sense)

The literature form is called allegory. The first Matrix was the best film in my opinion. Another good one is "The 13th floor" we are living in a computer simulatiion in that one as well. Predates Matrix also.

In all Honesty, That is my ALLTIME favorite movie i can watch it over and over again. Sometime when i experience dejavu` it does make it seem like maybe life is alot like the matrix. As for peoples opinion, Just remember One man's perception of the truth is another man's perception of a lie. Only you can know what the truth of the world if you open your eyes, your heart and your mind. Those with a closed mind will see only what is shown to them. But those with an open mind will be capable of doing all things deemed imposible. Even though the movies were a work of fiction it makes you think as to whether or not it was just categorized that way so that people would be more supectable to opening their mind, or taking the "red pill" so to speak. thats how i feel. It was justa fantastic work of disguised Non-fiction i have ever encountered.

The thing about the matrix movie, is that it displays life as being something that is produced, but in a sense, we are all led to believe what our eyes percieve as reality is real. But our minds are more open to our senses, such as the smell, taste, our hearing. and some other people with ESP. WE never know what actually is reality, so our imagination helps us.
