"And Dhoni finishes off in style" these words and the six by MS.Dhoni flashes into the mind when talking about world cup. 2011 world cup was a glory of success for the indians all over the world, and now in 2015 its time for defending champions to maintain the level of cricketing skills at another level. Quarter finals are so near and all the Asian teams are qualified for it (India, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh). The interesting part in this world cup is that it has been expect the unexpected series so far as India with all new team except 4 players have been unbeaten in the play offs and took 60 wickets in 6 matches, Wooaahh!!! is this really the new indian team? YES, it is! This team surely are now the favorites in this world cup along with New-Zealand which is another unexpected storm. They too have stayed unbeaten so far. So it would be interesting who will grab the Cup. An interesting fact about indian team is that they have been unbeaten from 10 matches taking world cup into consideration and the Captian Cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni has jumped to second position in the record books of ICC after former Australian Captain Ricky Ponting who was own 24 matches in a row(2003,2007,2011). South Africa known as Jokers of Cricket have a good chance to prove themselves this time with the likes and form of Ab de Villiers in the team. they will be playing against Sri Lanka to get into Semi finals. being home ground for Australia and New-Zealand, there wont be much trouble for them to enter semis as competing Pakistan and West Indies respectively. Another interesting fact about world cup is that David Warner ( Australian opening batsman) gave a statement before the world cup that Asian teams will struggle in the play offs. HAHA! now whose laughing Warner.
