Archiving emails in Microsoft Outlook

I have an ever-growing inbox which is lagging quite frequently these days. I talked to a colleague about it and he recommend me to do an archive. I have searched for a few hours for this option but unable to find it. Can anyone help me please? ( I am using Outlook 2013)

There are two ways to archive emails in Outlook : Auto-archiving and manual. Not sure, which one you had like to go with. Here's a guide which shows you both ways:
