Do you usually remember what you dream about? I normally have no recollection whatsoever about my dreams.... but if I do, it's usually because I just woke up from a nightmare... Even then, I don't remember much.... I used to keep a notebook by my bed to write down what I could remember from my dreams. It gave me ideas for poems and other creative writing projects. Do you do this? What have you remembered from your dreams? Also.... do you believe in dream analysis? Why or why not?

I believe that when someone who has passed away visits you in your dreams...then that's exactly what it was, a visit, not a dream. And yes, I usually start remembering my dream(s) from the night before the second my head hits the pillow to go to sleep...strange, I know. It's like my bed triggers the memories of the dreams. Some doctors say that if you can't remember your dreams at all, that you sleep VERY well and are in such a deep sleep that the dreams can't be remembered. And for the people who DO remember their dreams, they are not in that deep of a sleep...part of their conscious mind is still awake enough to remember them. Just some interesting stuff that I remember reading about a long time ago...

Wow, that's some really interesting information about dreams. Thanks for sharing it. :) Am I allowed to ask.... have you ever had "visits" from the deceased while you were asleep? Were they pleasant or unpleasant? Ironically.... I think I'm usually so exhausted from getting no sleep that I don't even get to the dream state of sleeping.... I usually wake up several times each night and can't sleep for hours at a time.... When I did keep track of my dreams, a lot of times, I would forget mid-sentence as I wrote it down..... and then I couldn't remember them at all... but sometimes, later in the day, some small part of the dream would come back to me briefly....
