Road Safety: Reaching the victims

It's a strange statement to say “Reaching the victims”, however it is an observation while on the road. At the macro level Road Safety is about traffic rules followed by vehicle driver and pedestrians. But then who are these drivers and pedestrians? the answer is “WE”. And so Road Safety is about all those who are potential victims on unsafe road accidents. To bring awareness about how and why these accidents have become an integral part of our lives, FIA (Federation of Internationale Automobile) has been organising Road Safety Week for past 24years in India. Every year the number of eyes that roll over these Safety messages have pledged to keep themselves and their surroundings safe. However we only strive to a day when the accidents on road would be 0% in a year.
