Wheeling it in the rains: Light up: Maintaining the air pressure of your car tyre as prescribed by the manufacturer is very important. Keeping a spare tyre in the car for emergencies and carrying a puncture repair kit is advised to avoid being stranded. The car wheels should be aligned properly before the monsoon sets in. Windscreen watch: Scratches on your car's windscreen, even small ones, tend to scatter the light from an approaching vehicle's headlight, affecting your vision. So make sure that your windscreen glass is scratch free. Light up: Along with checking that all your head lights function (both high beam and low beam), you also need to see that the indicators and tail lams function well. Remember, driving conditions are tough not just for you but also for the other drivers on the road. Brake smart: We don't need to tell you how important your car brakes are, but during monsoon their importance doubles. So, check for any leaks in the brake fluid before it starts pouring.
