I feel a mother sacrifices more generally... Although there are fathers out there that sacrifice just as much... Depends how you look at it I suppose...

There is absolutely no justification for a statement like that. There are literally millions of parents in every country throughout the planet, many of which would make great sacrifices for their children. You cannot place a higher value on one parent than another, particularly since every individual case is different. I am sure that there are many mothers who would make greater sacrifices than the father, but there are also many fathers who would make greater sacrifices than the mother of the child.

Caring for children should be equally distributed, but unfortunately it still isn´t. In my opinion it´s generally still the mother who sacrifices more than the father. In some countries because this is what is expected from women due to culture and traditions.

I agree. Mother sacrifices more than father. But usually children tend to love father more because father is more friendly. Mother is more strict because she feels she has a big responsibility. Father on the other hand doesn't care much so he's less worried and more playful. It's my opinion only, though.

In those that I know the mother is the one who sacrifices more but this is not to say that there are not good men out there who do sacrifice more also . The mother is usually the one who does more for her children and the one who makes sure everyone has something to eat and is taken care of for the day . It is usually the mother who tries to keep the peaces in the family etc.

mother sacrifices more, but do not forget that fathers too, they stay away from home to work to feed us and give us anything we want.. for me, we have to be thankful to both of them,,,

I think they both have to sacrifice a lot but i would say that moms tend to have more dreams they have to give up than dads.

Generally speaking, mothers sacrifice more. Mothers sacrifice themselves, their time, their energy, their personal relationships, their careers, their sleep, their hobbies, their own wants and needs...everything...for their children. Rarely have I seen a dad with the kind of committment and devotion to their child(ren) that mothers have. I would give just about anything for my child. It would be wonderful if more fathers felt the same way, or at least recognized the sacrifices that we mothers make!
