It has come to my attention, that many don't know they can delete messages in their in box. I can understand why, it isn't that obvious and I am going to suggest that it made a little more so.
To remove a message, open the desired message. In the pop up box that opens, hover your mouse over the message you wish to delete. A small trash can icon will appear next to the message. Click on the trash can. Message is now gone.

There are a few of us wondering and hoping that you could give us a definitive answer if you haven't already - if we report a comment/response and then delete it, will you still be able to see the report and read the comment/response to see if further action needs to be taken?

@GoAskAlice So then it is better to report rather than delete, because you can then take action on the report, especially if it is a repeat offender?

Once you delete it, it disappears from my list of reported posts. Or, at least I am 99% certain of it.

Ok, have to stop and thank you for this one. This is one of the things I had totally not figured out yet and it was annoying me, I like to clean things up I am done with for ease of tracking!
