The Abduction Of Oneself

We are all human beings. We are also intuitive and curious creatures. But at the same token we also have a brain that is way more powerful than we could ever imagine. We can think many things. Some of us follow religion as a source of truth, some of us follow other, maybe more radical things that we find comfort in. But what are we really trying to do? Are we looking for allies to bond with, that we feel connected to, or are we running away from something inside ourselves that we just don’t understand? Strange question? Maybe. But think about that for a moment.
As I said, the brain is powerful. What if those that are loners or closet or basket cases, really closed in or taken by oneself? As the title of this post suggests, maybe we have actually abducted ourselves and hold ourselves captive. Harboring our inner emotions and feeling. What if that is what these people do. What if everyone is actually doing this. Would that mean that life itself is an illusion? Is this just a flashing of thoughts and images that we have made up inside our minds? Okay, before you all start wondering here, no, I am not crazy. I do however think of things like this.
I often question the questions. The questionable. The outrageous. I basically question everything. I also wonder if we really are descendants of an alien race somewhere far away from this revolving ball we call earth. The reason why I wonder this is because the universe is huge and vast. And it only stands to reason that there has to be life out there that is way more intelligent than we are and much more advanced. But getting back to the mind and the self abducting thing. Maybe we conjure all this up in our minds. Maybe nothing we see, feel, taste or touch is real.
Getting back to earth now. like I said, some people follow religion or other entities to fit in and congregate together. While others do day to themselves completely. Does that make them crazy? No, not that I can tell. Maybe the people we consider crazy are actually the sane ones. Who really knows. Our minds think and wander. You know they say those who have died and came back, a new death experience? That is our brain freaking out. Our brain flashes through many memories and images. So our life does not really flash before our eyes. it’s like a hard drive burning out.
So maybe, just maybe we are self abducting. Maybe we have all abducted ourselves and created these worlds that we live in. And we created a backstory and an entire world. Our logic would dictate that not everyone is good or will get along. And so the mind creates these intricate images of a sick screwed up world. Am i getting too freaky here? I hope not. Don’t mind me, I am just going off on another one of my what if moments. Or is it possible moments. I thought this would make for a good post and possible conversation.

I think we self abduct and live in our own heads. What else are we to do? People that congregate are usually people of show. They need to feel like they belong. People that can be by themselves have easier lives because they don't feel the need to impress others and worry about what others think.
