One more thought about how to get members back here

In my opinion, a lot of other things need to be fixed first and tested out. Payouts at this stage would mean shelling out monies to spammers as well - and kind of inducing them to stay. This would be drastic in the long run as these spammers do not have their own thing to share and will learn to make money using some one else's work

I'm reliably informed that the earnings program is working behind the scenes as it is being tested and tweaked and is actually earning you (fractions of) cents. It's just that you can't see your earnings yet. Don't worry, it'll come! All in good time.

I think as soon as verified and legitimate payment proofs are shown by members, the membership base of the site will expand. I'm all for getting new members but if the site can put up some sort of screening process to pre-qualify members, that would be great for the site in the long run.

as @Owlwings says it is actually working, we just can not see it. I don't think it is a good idea to attract people here too soon. Let them find it themselves. We are already dealing with spam here again, having a plethora of people come in at once will just mean more work for the mylot team and less time for them to work on the algorithm and other bugs.
