I am so embarrassed. It took me forever to remember how to start a post here, I don't know why that "pencil in the box" was absent from my sight. Anyways, I will try to be here as often as I can, but I found out that my neighbor who owns the Lustron (a lustron is an all metal home built in the late 40s early 50s) will have her first customer on August 18 and since it has been sitting for the last 6 months, it needs a good cleaning. I will start with the walls, which are so different from walls of homes today. The are places where the metal has started to rust, so after cleaning I will wax it, just like one waxes a car. Next I'll clean the furniture, some of it is vinyl while other pieces are wood and then I'll clean the floors with this electric floor cleaner, again different from the carpets and tiles of the homes today. I really should have left already since it is going to be in the lower 90s, but after cleaning last evening, I slept in and having a hard time motivating. I also want to my friends to alert me if I miss a comment or reply. I am still trying to get use to this format and I feel like I might have missed something.
