Hiya guys! Cousin sent me his old electronic cigarette, complete with atomizer, the tube mod, battery, charger and some consumables. That was about eight months now. I started mixing then, e-cig and tobacco. But later on, about a month, I tried switching to a hundred percent e-cig only. How can I imagine, for more or less 30 years into smoking tobacco, now I quit and a hundred percent vaper, for already eight month? Isn't it great? I think I feel healthier now even without running. So has anyone here quit smoking? Can you share your experience? Also, has anyone here into vaping? What mod/atomizer are you using? And how did you start and how long have you been vaping?

I have never been a smoker but I watched my mother die from it and it was hard. I wish you all the best in giving up!

@Debbie Oceanblue Sorry to know what happened to your mother. Although there are plenty of health warnings for smoking, a lot of people still do not take them seriously. They always can find an excuse or an example to rebuke the quit advice. It is a pity indeed to take such unnecessary health risk.

No I have not quit easily but I have quit, but put on weight which is bad for health. I have thought about vaping..have not tried it yet. I just quit with gums and now nothing cold turkey. Proud of you for quitting!

Good to hear that you quit with only gums. It's good that the site is here again to pay, right? And so it's nice to see you back again friend. I miss old friends here like you, and I miss posting on here so much too. I hope to see back here again friends like @mentalward and others. See you around.

I tried many times but I failed. I still continue fighting for it. I can't consider myself totally smoke addict but sometimes I am longing for it.

30 years for me is something that I cannot imagine until I tried vaping and eventually quit. I guess you can also do it.

I was a heavy smoker 15 years ago but the minute that I thought I had to quit for the sake of my family and health, I just stopped. And until now I have never lighted another puff even socially. It is like gamble, if you don't go near the table, you won't get addicted.

Just like my father, he stop smoking when he feels something inside his body, but still puff another if he feels better. But until he was diagnosed with cancer that he totally quits.

Yes. I just stopped. Maybe it is easier for some people. But I read that people who suffered from lung diseases when they are asked to quit smoking, they also can do it straight away without any substitutes.
