Applied for Disability

This spring it was decided I would apply for Social Security Disability. This was because it was getting too hard for me to keep a job due to mental illness. Between bipolar, anxiety, and PTSD, I was only working 15 hours a week at most. And that was as I was fighting hallucinations and panic attacks. I got denied for SSI the first time though, which apparently happens to most people. Anyone else here tried applying for SSI disability?

I'm already on SSI due to my disability But I didn't apply for it - my school did on my behalf when I was about 3 years old. I never got denied Visual impairment isn't really something that can be disputed.

I know a few people who applied. My cousins wife, who suffers from MS. When she applied for disability, she was tired down flat. So she went to Binder and Binder. They got everything together for her, and she was accepted from that point on. So, some people need help getting it. Some just get accepted right away. She was worried when that happened, she thought she would never get it. But they helped her and she got it. After all, no one recovers from MS.
