The site was specifically redesigned in 2013 to be more compatible with smartphones and tablets. It is now very usable on these devices, in my experience, especially if you use the phone in horizontal mode and adjust the size of the view. I have several times used my phone to make comments and have even used its speech-to-text function (which seems to be excellent in Android 4.0.4 and 5) to enter text. I also have a Bluetooth keyboard for my phone which I find helps enormously when writing using a phone. It's worth noting that it specifically states in the Guidelines that "textspeak" is frowned upon here, so it is necessary to use the best and most readable English that you have at your command. If you want the functionality of an app, in the sense of having just one icon to tap to go to the site, just put a shortcut to MyLot on your Home screen. Different browsers have slightly different ways of doing this. On an Android device, look for a Widget associated with the browser you are using.

@TearHere I don't rule it out but I think that an app is probably very low on the agenda. For one thing, it is expensive to create a good app (and doubly expensive to create one for Android and IOS). Before the format change in 2013, there were many requests for an app and the redesign of the interface was clearly a response to those requests. I'm sure that the owners are keeping a close watch on the statistics of what devices and operating systems are used to access the site. If tablet and smartphone usage exceeds a certain percentage, any sensible site will give serious consideration to building an app to make the site more usable. MyLot is not really a site like Twitter or Facebook (even though it looks rather like Twitter or, perhaps, LinkedIn at first glance) and it is not quite so amenable to the limited space available on an app.

I am sure they will come up with an app. It would be nice, though it does not affect me dear friend. I only have a boring little laptop.

I hope they come up with it, bec im using my phone 70% at the time, but mylot is still manageable on the phone, but it will be more easier to navigate if theres an app for it.
