Are You Longing For Something?

There is always a longing inside of us whether we admit t or not. We always feel that we need something or someone to complete us but then we simply try to be contented rather than be embittered by the things that we long for in life. DO you have something you long for in life? Other than the material things, we also have emotional needs and all other needs we can imagine.

My life with my wife and our kids is complete, but it definitely much better, I guess, if we live in a better place, a place we can call our own.

That is good to hear. Having a good family is enough to be grateful for.

Our desires are endless. If any of our desires gets completed, second one comes in our mind. The great scholar George Bernard Shaw has said - "There are two tragedies in a man's life - first - to get a thing and second - Not to get a thing." Our mind is such that we always long for someone or something and I believe it goes on and on (till we are too old). I have no particular longing, I feel contended with my life.

I agree. Human's desires are never satiated at all.

I am longing for 20 pounds to disappear before my sister's wedding. A nice fortune to cope with all bills would be nice too
