Crochet Left, Knit Right

I have been knitting and crocheting for many years. One of my grandmothers taught me the beginning stitches of both and then after that I have pretty much learned on my own. The thing that is quirky is that I crochet left-handed (I use the crochet hook in my left hand) and I knit right-handed (I use my right hand for the working yarn).

I used to crochet! and one of these days I'm going to pick it up again. I think it's very relaxing, especially while watching t.v. with my husband who I let have full control of the remote..

You need to pick it up again soon. Winter is coming and you'll need something to cover your hands and head with. Or make Christmas presents. Or wash cloths. Or jewelry. The possibilities are endless!!

Most of the time, the men are the ones in charge of the remote. That gives us an excuse to knit or crochet.
