I Am New Here

This is my first post ever on this site. I like to write online and do so on other writing sites. I am married with two adult sons. The older is 24 and on his own. The younger is 19 and getting ready to start his second year of College this week. My husband works in retail and I am looking for a job outside the home. My hobbies are reading and playing Farmville on Facebook. I like to keep up with the Nascar races. One thing that makes me kind of mad at the moment is how the television channel that the races are mostly shown on, we do not get that channel. So, I can't watch the races. I have to either listen to them on the radio or follow it online.

@LeaPea2417 Jimmie Johnson is my favorite, but I also like Jeff, Jamie, and Carl Edwards. It's going to feel odd without Jeff around.

It's been about 2 years now since I have read a discussion of a new person on mylot, and it is usually how everyone starts - that is not a bad thing - it is in a way your first test and try at starting a discussion.
I find it very interesting that you like Nascar racing and I do feel for you for not being able to watch your favorite sport on the telly. I have had problems with television series being available in Romania and even in the UK after my move and it is extremely frustrating but don't let it ruin your fun, there are always alternatives of watching it like you said !

Welcome to MyLot. Fun community so far. I have had an account for some time but just recently started to be active again. That is nice that you write on other sites. I have an account with Wikinut but only posted 2 articles so far. That is a writing site by the way but not sure how good it is.

Welcome. MyLot will surprise you in so many ways other than an egg-basket. You will be able to get the best advice on just about anything here from a community of writers, bloggers, hobbyists, DIY experts and from more than a few Jack of All Trades. There are avid Nascar fans here as well, i'm sure.

Welcome to mylot. you will find this site a great way to learn from others, they learn from you, and of course earn, even though it isn't all that much. i love mylot and I am happy that i came back. I had no idea they were paying us again, but when i got the email of another follower, i decided to see what is going on, and boy was I happy to see the earnings tab again. I siad to myself that they must be paying again, and i need to start back up and start earning again. i have not regretted it, and those that are new won't regret being here either. You just have to give the earnings a chance as you certainly won't get rich, but when you see it add up, then it makes it seem like you are getting rich even though you really aren't lol. take care, and just have fun in here, and do your best.
