Exhausted Helping Relatives?

Have you ever felt exhausted helping relatives or friends? Sounds like not a good attitude. But do not judge yet unless you hear every sides of the story. It feels good to share your blessings especially if you do really have a lot. There is a joy in helping people especially if they are your own blood. But what if the scenario seems to be a cycle and they become too dependent on you? And when you said no for the first time, you are the most evil person in the world as if you had never helped them at all.

If that is the case , that they become dependent on your help then it's time to say NO to them . Don't mind them if they will think that way with you . Will they suffer too when you suffer because of lack of money anymore - No .

@SIMPLYD Exactly. Sometimes they just do not know when to stop asking for help and this becomes their only way to survive.

I am not tired but run out of breath when they become too demanding. It is like you can never do enough at times.

I agree. Sometimes they become too demanding because they get used to asking for help from you

Sometimes the kindest thing we can do is teach them how to do this for themselves. Is it about money? Help them get a job. Is it transportation? Get the bus schedule for them and the number for a taxi. If it is other stuff, bring whatever they need to help themselves. Tell them you will support them in finding what they need.
