Virtual love anyone?

On a site I used to work previously, I noticed that ever so often virtual love blossomed and grew actively. Some relationships were across states but a number of those people manged to meet up and find out if their virtual relationship was as good in person. However, some were across continents and I had me wondering how things will pan out. As for me I am happily married and content with what I have. I haven't felt attracted to anyone online. Have you had any virtual relationships yourself? What are your thoughts on virtual love?

I know you know me from Bubblews and you may have known about April and myself. Me being in the UK and her in the USA. We fell in love online, it was amazing. We used Skype to chat and we chatted for hours, some Skype calls where 24 hours. We met in Jan of 2014, and the love was real.

@sofssu Yes, that I did. We were friends for the longest time. In my opinion to be happily married, you have to be friends first. Yes, I am really enjoying this.

@TexanTornado So you too met your husband online. How wonderful is that.. I am glad you decided to meet after 21/2 years..and now you have been happily married for 13 years. I love this site just for this we get to know each other a lot more personally.

Who can forget these words from the Bible "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you" It is something like that when it comes to establish relationships on the Net. One has to intentionally look for them.

I think it will take a lot of investigation before i can fall for someone through online means.

@SIMPLYD Yes, you have to be doubly careful before falling in love virtually. There was a strange happening on Hubpages which jolted everyone.. the girl was smart enough to close her account and leave. The community did help put some sense into her. This happened a few years ago.

@ACETY5 I guess the virtual isn't exactly a complete picture of the real person. Hope you two get together again and clear up your differences.
