Questioning Essential Oils (Female Adult Content)

I'm trying to get onto a Menopause board on Facebook but I guess it's inactive as no one has accepted my membership, so I thought I'd pose my question here.
I am post-menopausal. While going through menopause I used Yam Cream/Gel which eliminated all menopausal symptoms. However, when I showed the cream to my doctor she said it was estrogen based and since I had two close calls with cancer (a lump removed from my breast and several abnormal pap tests), taking hormones was not recommended. So I stopped using the yam cream and eventually hot flashes kicked in, dryness and painful intercourse, and, well, I'll just say low libido (the mind is willing but the body isn't). We've had to resort to watching certain videos which I really don't like having to do (but it works).
There has to be something totally natural out there that can help with this. I've heard people singing the praises of essential oils, but not necessarily with regards to menopause. Does anyone have any advice? Maybe even something else that is natural that will help. I thought the yam cream was natural and had been using it for years. I started using it again this week because I am so frustrated. I want to throw a chair through a window!
Anyone have any suggestions?

I am a DoTerra lover but Im sure that there are other brands that would work the same. Their product called Clarycalm is made for dealing with the side effects of this wonderful chaotic time of life.
Here is a link that will tell you more about it so you can figure out if there are similar options with your brand of choice.
I try to do the natural options first before I go to the doctor and get some sort of chemical pill that might have worse side effects than what it is healing. Cancer isn't fun at all.
It’s a simple fact: hormones get blamed for a lot—bad moods, aggressive moments, even sad days. Deserved or not, it is clear hormones play a significant role in

@patgalca That is one area I don't have real issues with unless you count my husband turning down my multiple advances each day a problem. I was looking into a natural fix of Maca Root but I was afraid to take it because the reviews I read said it would take you back to teenage hormones again. Maybe you can give that a go. Its also supposed to help with adrenals and energy but I didn't try it because there are enough teenage hormones raging in my house right now.

"something totally natural"
That is a dubious phrase. Something not being natural does not make it bad for you, nor does something being natural mean it's good for you. Cyanide is natural. Hemlock is natural. I wouldn't be taking either of those in an essential oil though.
