Concerning the movie Gone Girl, there are many discussions putting forward the word Irrelationship which means the couple have superficial close intimacy but in fact they are trying to avoid each other's intimate behavior. Does there truly exist this kind of fake relationship? Why should there be this kind of mechanism emerged? And how can we surmount it?

It is just a forged word. If you have time, you can enjoy the movie Gone Girl, it may be somewhat exaggerated but I think it can in some way reflect the facts in our daily life.

This is the first time I have encountered this word, but if I understand it correctly, it describes many of the current relationships. In my opinion a lot of relationships are superficial.
