no will power

I don't know what's wrong with me lately but I seem to have no will power when it comes to eating. I lost 35 pounds about 5 years ago now and been keeping it off until about 4 month ago when I gained 2 pounds, I know it doesn't seem like a lot but last time I lost weight I gained it all back so 2 pounds seems like a lot to me.I used to only eat my food that I took to work and if they had other stuff I used to just ignore it, now I just wanna eat everything there is...maybe cause I'm getting older or maybe menopause but I gotta buckle down and go back to my old ways and just say no when people offer me food. Then we always have these darn pot lucks at work and they sure don't help any.....Grrrr

Pot Lucks are special times and I miss them but even when I was back home they weren't too often for me to worry about. Maybe instead of avoiding the food, choose it better or less. I use a small plate and only fill it once. The diabetic people want me to change what I eat but i can't really do that too much because we have to take what we can get, so I just changed how I was eating.

That's good advise and I'm gonna try it out Friday when we have another pot luck...it never ends
