Is being random better than having an agenda?

There are people out there that have a specific agenda and they are successful. There are others that are simply creating random content and people love that content as well and therefore they are also successful.
There is a Romanian guy that has started out with random stuff on youtube and then he gained many subscribes so his channel grew very much and now is still doing random stuff even after more than 2 years of youtube and he still has many subscribers.
I suppose that the reason why he has so many subscribers is because he is really appealing to the 13..18 y.o. children. He kinda gives them the illusion that it is ok to be random (disorganized) and still be happy which is something that nowadays generation loves very much in my opinion.

Its all about your personality and the way you want to live your life. I personally believe like you stated in the first part of the discussion that people with an agenda/plan succeed. I prefer to be organized.. but if you can be disorganized and do things as they come and still be successful good on you. Youtube may not be the best example of success.
