Is The Donald Growing on you Yet?

When the election season started I like many people said what,Donald Trump? pffft. Now every time you turn on the news, there he is doing an interview, making a speech or giving kids helicopter rides. If he is not there, there are panels discussing him,why do people like him,why is he so high up in the polls, analyzing every thing Trump. He doesn't need ads,he has plenty of coverage from the media. He does not look or sound like a politician and maybe that is a good thing. He is starting to grow on me,just a little. I like many of his ideas, they are a bit different than everybody else's,another good thing. Now the political pundits are saying ,with a gasp of surprise, maybe he will even make it to the end, maybe he will actually be the nominee. It is a long time away, many more debates and a lot of time for him to stick his foot in his mouth and time for someone else to shine and jump in front. But maybe many of us are sick and tired of the same old status quo and want a real change this time.

@granny2015 Any republican is going to get rid of Obamacare. The majority didn't want it and still don't.Most have plans to replace it and let people get their own insurance like with tax credits etc. The reason so many repubs were elected last time was to get rid of it,but they still have not

I mistrust the whole thing. I don't know if he's really running to win or running to be a spoiler. I don't know if he will really get votes or not. I don't know if the RNC would ever make him the nominee. It's worrisome. I do know this - he couldn't be a worse president than the one we have.

He's growing on me like a fungus. It is refreshing that he says stuff straight out, as does Bernie Sanders for the most part, but between the two of them, I believe in what Bernie's saying a lot more than Donald. He's a narcissist imho.

He will get us into all kind of a political and maybe safety trouble with other countries. He is no diplomat and tends to throw rude around just because he can. And that is just one reason I don't like him for president. I didn't like before he ran but that aside, he isn't a straight shooting guy. He is only out for himself and will do nothing for the folks like me. Also, he raped his wife ... the second one I think.... Let me see if I can find the story. Be right back....

Trumps only purpose in this race is to demonstrate what a farce our election process has become. As president, Trump would be a tyrant.

Two great minds - I just did a quick blurb on him....I'm from his neck of the woods, I understand the man.
