Hi Mylot friends, Rakshabandan is a Hindu festival of brother and sisters, that celebrate the love and duty between brother and sister. It is also popularly used to celebrate any brother and sister relationship in between men and women. This Rakshabandan festival also called as Rakhee Purnima. Rakshabandan literally means in Sanskrit " The tie or knot of protection". The sister performs the Rakhi ceremony by tie a Rakhi to the brother and expressing her wish of love wish of well being of her brother in turn the brother pledges to protect and take care of the sister.
