The Windows Are Open!

The temperature is down to a more comfortable level, no humidity, a slight breeze. I've actually opened the windows to let some fresh air into the house. We've been told by our local weatherman that we will have these comfortable temperatures for a few days. It is a nice relief from the humidity. I have to say, though, it's been a miserable summer for watching late evening soccer games. We've either frozen to death or been eaten alive by mosquitoes. Even this past Tuesday when it was rather humid, by game end it was damp and cold while my daughter, who was running around for two hours, still found it to be humid. The temperature had in fact dropped 10 celsius degrees that evening. We've only had a few hot and humid days this summer. The up and down temperatures have given the people with illnesses like fibromyalgia quite a beating. On the downside, Environment Canada says we'll have snow by October 1st.
