The temperature is down to a more comfortable level, no humidity, a slight breeze. I've actually opened the windows to let some fresh air into the house. We've been told by our local weatherman that we will have these comfortable temperatures for a few days. It is a nice relief from the humidity.
I have to say, though, it's been a miserable summer for watching late evening soccer games. We've either frozen to death or been eaten alive by mosquitoes. Even this past Tuesday when it was rather humid, by game end it was damp and cold while my daughter, who was running around for two hours, still found it to be humid. The temperature had in fact dropped 10 celsius degrees that evening. We've only had a few hot and humid days this summer. The up and down temperatures have given the people with illnesses like fibromyalgia quite a beating.
On the downside, Environment Canada says we'll have snow by October 1st.

I heard that about Michigan too. Well, they said at least one major snowstorm before Halloween. You know what I feel like doing? Giving you a pumpkin....for being my northern neighbor.

@Druscilla034 I remember last year that storm that came off the big lake and dumped so much snow, so early.

Still panting here with the heat. Was out for a walk early this morning. Really looking forward to fall weather hope it doesn't go from summer right to winter. Air quality with this heat has been not the greatest either.
How do they know it will snow? Do they read the farmers almanac? :-)

@patgalca I read next season might be affected by an elmo. Do you know what an elmo is? I sure don't. Weather may be not an exact science. Lets just see what happens in October. I am not counting snow as four snow flakes. But you never know maybe the smarty's doing the predicting are right.

Here in Oregon, we had arather hot summer, way above normal. It is unusual for use to get 199, but we had it several days in a row, and I was miserable. My ac went out so I just have fans to use, which is better than nothing I suppose. Right now, it is very pleasant, but this weekend, we are due to get hot again, over 90 before it cools back down again. I will be lad when summer is over, as it has been way to hot, and I don't cope in the heat.

The weather is sometimes acting strange. I admit.
