When I think about Hurricane Katrina sometimes it seems like it was 50 years ago and other times it seems like it was last week. With the 10th anniversary coming up it must bring back horrible memories to so many people. It is something we pray will never happen again to that area.
As we enter the main part of hurricane season it's hard not to think about Katrina as well as Hurricane Sandy that hit the east coast just a few years ago. Mother Nature isn't nice and she has caused a lot of pain and heartbreak.
To those of you who were hit by Katerina along the Gulf Coast, I hope you have had enough time to recover and I know this is a hard time to relive.

Lots of people and thanks to Harry Conick Jr and a few others some are still getting new homes, it takes a long time.

It sure was. My father's side of the family is in LA but they don't live close to the city.

Very true and I'm sure there will be lots of memorials on TV this weekend.
