No matter what a person's political beliefs are, this is beyond tasteless! Obviously anyone with any class wouldn't sink this low! It's beyond tacky, cruel, thoughtless and inappropriate. How despicable! An apology would be the "human" thing to do! The remark is not only cruel to the Carter family but to everyone who has suffered from or has a loved one who has suffered from cancer! I'm sure, if she has any kind of love in her heart, wouldn't appreciate anyone saying that about any of her loved ones! Hopefully, the editors of the #NewYorkPost, #WashingtonTimes, #WallStreetJournal, and the #JerusalemPost will somehow acknowledge how tasteless the comment was.

Yes what she said was wrong, and everything else you said... But she has the freedom of speech..and has the right to voice her opinion no matter how ignorant it is.....We do not have to agree with her or like what she said..but we have no right to force her to apologize for how she feels.

I think that the Freedom of Speech doesn't include this type of ignorance. You can't yell "fire" in a crowd. I forgot how it is worded but there are statements in the past that show this kind of cruelty isn't covered under the right to "Free Speech". This is just beneath any kind of common decency!
