Oh good. I feel so much safer now. It is widely known that groups like ISIS operate through gay escort services to recruit operatives. The problems with this are numerous and I honestly don't even know where to begin. First, what business is it of Homeland Security's what consenting adults do in with each other? Second, what in the I say What in the HELL is Homeland security even doing being involved in this sort of law (what ever stupid law these fallas' are even breaking) enforcement??
Homeland Security "will use its unique authorities to disrupt and dismantle" gay escort sites says special investigator.

I cannot fathom how this falls into the purview of the mission of Homeland Security. If anyone is going to be working on that type of crime - gay or straight - I would think it would be the local police, or the FBI if they trafficked over state lines or committed felonies. But this is general illegal activity, not terrorism and certainly not the type of activity that is a danger to national security.

@xfahctor So basically, Homeland Security (could there be a worse name that invoked worse connotations?) is getting ready to be THE law enforcement agency and we can expect that all law enforcement will be centralized in this federal agency whose head is appointed by the President. I wonder how any agency with Security in its name can make me feel so insecure.
