Still We Are Friends

Now when I am typing these words,my friend is sitting by my side.We have been friends since our childhood_ and best friends at that.Despite all our differences. We differ almost on all issues under the sun.He is the only son of a rich man whereas I come from a middle class family.I am religious and he's an atheist.I believe in astrology,but he says it's nothing but a fraud.I am a supporter of a political party of which he has been the most bitter critic.I respect and follow our old traditions,he's a rebel who scoffs at old traditions. And the list of our differences goes on. Still we are friends.We argue with each other,but never fall out.The only thing we have in common is that we respect each other's right to differ.And this commonness prevails on all our differences.
