Yes it is possible to make money from free blog, like blogspot or blogger but it not easy to earn from blog. It need your passion building your own post or story. If just copy paste blog, it not so worth it do waste of time. Build own blog post, own story, can get real and royal reader but still money not just come like that. Are you going to start bloging ?

True, it is very difficult to make money from blogs, you have to have a huge following. And write a lot of quality, original content.

Yes, I keep free blogs. I use it to promote things in order to get free things. I also use them to review things I get for free.

@chatterboxboy The advantage of a free blog is not having to pay a monthly fee. To those who rarely get views or comments or can't afford to pay a monthly fee. Than a free blog would be the way to start up. You can always transfer to a hosted blog later on.

then what is the advantage having a hosted blog over free blog?
