MyLot Review

Totally unplanned but liked the way it worked out. Was doing a general search and found a site that had published reviews of myLot. None of the reviews were current and the information presented was also not accurate. Don't often review sites but this time, took it upon myself to supply an updated assessment of what's going on here now. Gave this site 5 out of 5 stars. Do you ever write site reviews, product reviews, etc. for the general public or the consumer?

I write reviews/feedback just about everyday. I get feedback from customers 953 strong on one account and over 1000 on another. I personally take my time (most of the time) and respond and thank each and everyone based on their feedback (left for me.) these people help me pay my bills and I just want to show my appreciation. Product reviews, I write if I get a really good product or the person that helped me was outstanding. I'm not a feedback junky but it helps with the ratings and some people swear by it.

You respond back? That's interesting. For the reviews that I've written none of the site owners have responded. But I'm cool with that.

I have written reviews but like you said, they go out of date. So if you write a review, you sort of need to update it when things change. That can end up being a lot of work.

The reviews add value to the site though. (I think.) Because some of the sites where you submit the reviews have a good reputation and many people refer to those sites and find the reviews posted there useful or helpful. Definitely wouldn't turn it into a full-time endeavor. But every once in a while I like to give a shout out about a particular website, blog, business, etc. that I really like!

I tend to review just about anything I see or involve myself with so it is a matter of time before I review this site too
