Yarn and Taj Mahal

United States

Earlier this evening, I went to the yarn store for the Thursday evening knitting/crocheting group. I have been able to go there only on Thursday evenings most times since I started working back in early June. It's nice to be able to be with other people who also like to work with yarn. Afterward, we went to Taj Mahal for supper. I've never been to a restaurant with Indian cuisine. I ordered a dish that had potato cubes and cauliflower with a tomato sauce. The spiciness level I wanted was 2 (medium). It was still pretty spicy for me. Almost too spicy. I really liked the rice. Someone told me it was basalmic rice. It smelled really nice. I think the next time, I will order any dish there with either a zero or 1 level of spiciness. Whew!

I wish I could still knit and crochet, but my fingers have arthritis and it is difficult now.

A I don't know how bad your fingers get but you could probably try to use bigger hooks and needles (not gigantic ones) and thicker yarn.

@bluerubymoon53 Thanks for the suggestion for thicker #yarn and bigger #crochets hooks but it won't work for me.
