How does your garden grow?

Ours grows like wildfire! Right now we are on the down side of the garden as August melds into September. We have new lettuce that should be ready to pick in a week or so. We have two new tomato plant that could produce a few 'maters before winter.
We have had 4 harvests of Swiss chard so far and we should get one more harvest, which means one more huge pot of it! Oh, the green beans are still coming on strong.
My husband is the official vacuum-sealer guy and we go through a lot of rolls of the bags but it's worth it. We have enough veggies in the freezer to have many meals over the winter including: green beans, broccoli, carrots, Swiss chard and squash.
What has your garden produced for you?

@AbbyGreenhill I'm sure it is, but I find it a really rewarding hobby.

@Gina145 My mother always wanted a bonsai tree, but she was pretty much only good at growing African violets.

It's harder to grow bonsai trees than to grow green beans I bet.

We have downsized our garden over the years. Even though we have 8 acres here, we only wanted a small garden. It gives us enough - I have lots of veggies in the freezer but I'm not doing as much work cleaning/cooking like I did when we had huge gardens.

With don't do many flowers and we only have a 8 x 16 raised bed - it's just enough!

@AbbyGreenhill There is no need to grow too many veggies in the garden when one doesn't need them.

@marlina It has nothing to do with need, it has to do with the time and work involved in a large garden. We're not spring chickens, so this raised bed makes it so much easier for us.
