I think it's an internal switch that goes on when you have your children. I can walk away from any situation...but don't mess with my kids. That's when the claws come out.

It is quite simple. You are made from your parents flash and blood. You are part of them. You are actually mixed. When parents see you, they see themselves in you and they do not want you to make same mistakes as they have done. They want you be harmless. It is nature of all parents. Even in animals.

because we were children at one time to believe it or not and we know what is out there that can hurt us...
