Money is the key to everything some would say, but what happened to the world when money loses value?

Yes the paper money is apparently devaluing. There are those who want to abolish it and just trade..I dont subscribe to that. I like my American dollar. Even tho I dont have any haha

I don't know Roz. I could handle the barter system. What would you give me for a bucket of fresh green beans?

Trying to keep the bill collectors hands off our beloved American dollar is tricky, although I have often thought about offering to trade a goat for a couple month's worth of electricity.

There will always be value. We simply cant operate without a money system. You have to be able to pay people to provide things that you cant provide for your self and sometimes the value of these services are big or small. So you need a currency to separate the small services from the large services.

I'm not sure I understand this but then it is difficult to understand everything about money.

There was a time people would have to trade a live goat or herd of cattle for a good or service and I suspect without money to represent value, we would go back to the days of trading.
