Yesterday morning a very cheerful man came to my front door. He was driving a van which advertised Vertical Blinds; Security Doors and Windows and Flyscreens. When I opened the door he apologized for being late and asked me which room did I want the Blinds put in. I was stunned for a moment and said 'you have the wrong address, its not for me'. He then showed me an Invoice asking for a Quote, it had my Surname and Address on it which was intriguing as I had not asked for a Quote. There was also a name and mobile phone number on the Invoice which was neither my name or number. He then sat outside in his Van for some time I guess trying to follow up on the request. I think someone just gave him a name and address and a phony mobile phone number. Poor man he must have been rather bemused.
