Getting Gassed Up!

Just enough Green Beans for dinner!

No, not at the gas station - we did that this morning and got a good bargain at $1.39 a gallon. The gas I'm talking about now is from the green beans that I picked earlier. They have now been cleaned and cooked and will be a great side-dish for dinner. Problem with beans and other veggies like cabbage and broccoli - too much gas. I found a trick last summer that helps - while the veggies are cooking I had a little dash of baking soda to them. Most of the time it works! (Thank goodness!)

That is a goo tip. I don't have too many gas problems but none is better than some right! Yeah, and the gas price going down is super awesome!
