2000 AD 1993 – Spoiler alerts. A delightfully dotty story about a Gandhi-like Indian pacifist Bhagwan visiting the hyper-violent Megacity One. When un-seen killers offer a million credits to anyone killing the loincloth wearing emaciated Bhagwan, just about everyone tries to get the money. Grannies, children and anyone else has a go. Fortunately for the Bhagwan, Judge Dredd is assigned to be his bodyguard and leads him through the gauntlet, taking out the would be assassins as he goes. Dredd even squashes a fly the Bhagwan wants to spare. Finally, the Bhagwan waters a flower on a tomb for an unknown citizen, and goes home. Dredd is decidedly unamused, unlike this reader.
