Does follow mean anything here?

I am really curious to know what you think on this subject. Does it mean anything to follow someone on mylot? The site doesn't show the discussions started by the person, or the activities by the person you follow as some other sites do.
You really have to check on the person's profile and on discussions to know if they have started something new.
The only thing that can happen when you follow someone is they can send you suggestions.
Do you think there should be more to follow than this? Or am I missing something here?

I think it only means something if the people you follow, you truly want to follow to keep an eye on things they are doing. Otherwise, no, I don't think it means much of anything.
