Does follow mean anything here?

I am really curious to know what you think on this subject. Does it mean anything to follow someone on mylot? The site doesn't show the discussions started by the person, or the activities by the person you follow as some other sites do. You really have to check on the person's profile and on discussions to know if they have started something new. The only thing that can happen when you follow someone is they can send you suggestions. Do you think there should be more to follow than this? Or am I missing something here?

I think it only means something if the people you follow, you truly want to follow to keep an eye on things they are doing. Otherwise, no, I don't think it means much of anything.

Yeah its okay but I would hope to have a better way to follow my followers discussions..Do you remember how it used to be on B when we would be notified of their discussions and comments?

If you follow the instructions that @PhredWreck said, it is a good tool to help you keep up with the friends you are following.

@simone10 Thanks. I discovered that after trying it out. I may have to use it more often.

@amnabas Another reason for me to think so is because the networking doesn't really seem to matter..the number of interactions/ discussions you have had is what really matters at the end of the day. I personally interact with everyone who interacts with me.
