This is another snake I caught a few years back. This species is called a Rough Green Snake. There are two species of Green Snake, the Rough and the Smooth. The Rough Green Snake has keeled scales and is slightly rough to the touch. The Smooth Greensnake has smooth scales and it smooth to the touch. There size slightly differs but their coloration is almost identical. These snakes can climb well and often climb bushes looks like insects. They are very quick, and mostly not aggressive but will strike to defend themselves. They rarely bit though. These guys are escape artist as well.
