reality tv shows

i'm such a sucker for reality tv! i know its largely considered fluff but for some reason i really enjoy watching. and i always feel oddly ashamed whenever the topic comes up and anyone asks me what i watch; but the truth is, i find a lot of comfort in it! its kind of nice to just lay back and watch something that doesnt take too much work, that you can just sort of laugh at and not get too emotionally involved in.
my mom watches the news all day and i dont know how she does it!
does anyone else enjoy reality tv? what are your favorites?

@sprinklesare4winners It is true, a lot is scripted but still interesting to see how they interact. I am watching Celebrity Big Brother in the UK at the moment.

@gudheart ive never seen big brother believe it or not!!! idk why lol i wonder if i could watch past seasons on netflix or something

same! i know some of it is scripted but all in all its interesting to see how something "really" plays out versus what the writers dreamt up. more authentic

I do watch reality tv. I know I shouldnt but I like the Bachelor and Bachlorette. i like the shows where they fall in love, but those shows seem like it happens way to fast, but some do end up getting married from it, whee otehrs will get engaged, and then after a time,they break up. i guess that is life.

i definitely want to watch the bachelor/bachelorette but the way they shoot it is SO suspenseful!!! they do long pauses in between roses and stuff like that and i have very little patience haha so it drives me crazy!
