Admit it, you have a hobby that others might think is silly!

Ok, so we all have hobbies and things we like to do, ones that are more accepted than others. Well here is one of mine, I like to game. I play several online MMO's (massively multiple player online game). Right now the two I am playing are Final Fantasy XIV and Neverwinter. I also play several Facebook games, and a couple odd games I picked up with free google play money (if you have an android there is a google survey app, they pay you in google credits, I haven't paid for an app in over a year now).
Yes I am female, the whole stereotype that girls don't play games is old, and perpetuated by silly people. Even famous people like Mia Kunis (yes I find it hilarious that "Jackie" married "Kelso"). have been known to play MMO's, as Mia played WoW (World of Warcraft). Matter of fact females often have better dexterity than males, so pfft, we can be better than you!
. Ahem.
I have other hobbies but if I look where I do spend, or would spend, the bulk of my free time, it would be there.
What about you?

Today, I am more addicted to computers.I stay at home and work online (website development) and that is where I spend bulk of my time. On holidays I love to cook for both of us or even assist her in her weekly chores. She works as a teacher and is out for most of the day.

@Jessicalynnt I really had no other choice as I stay glued to my PC almost for 16 hours a day. Most of the time it is either work or self study and when there is nothing, there is MyLot, Chess and even surfing to read news/subjects of interest.

@thesids pretty much. Right now I have this open, Amazon, gmail facebook, and PCH (a lotto, but since I can play online and NOT pay for tickets, why not)

Oh havens, if you are adding PCs to what one can be addicted too, I might be there as well. Or at least being online, I am online for some time on and off all day!

I limit myself to one subscription game for the most part, everything else is free to play.

I have one hobby which is something that men or very few men do. I knit and I don't mind admitting I do, in fact I open an Etsy store and started selling my work, so my hobby now earns me money :)

@thesids You have to shop around for materials and with the internet now days things have become much cheaper. I guess it all depends on what people are willing to pay for the items you have made and to what profit you are making vs time spent making.

I had a time when I got into making the stuffed toys. It was and still is an expensive hobby as the raw materials and time invested are way too much. Unfortunately, back those day, Internet was almost unknown in my part of the world and also, there were almost no takers (buyers) of my work. The ones who could buy went to Archies and Hallmark Galleries instead.

@kevin1877uk Exactly. The Internet definitely has opened up many avenues. Agreed, some things just dont get easy coming from India but still, the market is wide open and if anyone can deliver with quality, there is no reason he will not be able to do some good.
