Are iPhone's Worth The High Price Tag?

I love my iPhone 4s so much, but I was lucky to get it free. I managed to get it off my sister who gave me her old iPHone 4s when she bought a new iPhone. Three years on and now I am needing a new phone soon, but do not want to pay the really high price tag for the new iPhone 5. I am hoping my sister will give me her old iPhone 5!

I personally don't believe in paying so much for a phone. I'd rather just spend about 100-200 on a nice Android phone. Plus, Apple makes you pay for everything, itunes, apps, etc...

@Angelee_27 Okay thanks. I have seen them for sale on Amazon and eBay, so thinking I would give it ago. They are still expensive though.

@gudheart I mean, I've never had any experience with them. So, I can't say for sure. But, usually knock-offs are poorly made compared to the real thing.

They are made quite well, and that is what makes them so expensive. I have the iPhone 6 plus, and I love it. I am with T-Mobile so I can upgrade every six months or twice a year which is excessive as I don't do that. The new iPhone 6s and 6s plus will be coming out on September 25th, with pre orders starting tomorrow nightt at midnight. I won't be there at midnight that is for sure.

@gudheart they are made of very good materials, but also if misused,or dropped, they can break very easily. I have an Otter Box case on my iPhone, which protects it all the way around, so if I accidentally drop it, nothing will happen to it.

@rosekiss I heard they are very durable too. Good to know if I drop it it would survive lol

I have an iPhone 6+ but it is currently at the apple centre as I claimed warranty for the broken isight camera which wasn't working after I updated my phone. It wasn't a software issue though, but a hardware one, which means apple have to replace my phone with a new one. The downside is, I have to wait for 3 months tops to get it back since they have to send it to Singapore and send it back here in the Philippines. Is an iPhone worth its price? I have tried HTC, Blackberry, Samsung, and most of the leading smartphones out there and I always choose the high end ones, but for me, iPhone is the most user friendly among all the phones that I have tried. Me and Apple, just suits perfectly well. I'm not speaking for everybody though because I believe that the type of phone varies for each users' needs. It just so happens that everything I need is in the iPhone because I'm a macbook pro user. And if you ask me if i'll get the latest iPhone? Yes, i will and i will not hesitate to spend much money on getting one because I need it in my life hahaha!

Nah, I don't think iPhones are worth the price. I have an Android that I got for free when I joined my phone provider and it works just as well. I think most of Apple's products are overpriced.

That is good that you got a good deal for your phone.

Can't really say since I'm an Android person, and I'm happy with it. I'm not the type who's willing to spend a fortune on a phone, or any gadget for that matter.

@gudheart yea it did for a while and i was completely fine with it, but now im so far behind i guess the software isnt running as well, and my phone is slow and doesnt hold a lot of pictures/apps. so thats why its time for me to spend a little more... bt not an iphone lol

I am not an Apple fan. Actually I always don't understand why people spend so much to buy an iPhone, and some even wait for days outside the stores. Can't they wait for some time when its price is lower? I can buy two good Android cellphones with that price. Besides, I think it is easier for Android phone to connect the computer. Everything is much more convenient. But iPhone has its own advantage. I think it has a good ability to take quality photos.

I really enjoy my new iPhone 6, but we got a really good deal on ours or else we would not have gotten them. I do think they are way overpriced.
