It would be too much to ask for departmental cooperation, right?

This is going to be a work rant. Perchance not a long one, but a work rant nonetheless.
We have enough problems getting cooperation in our own department sometimes. The other departments are really starting to get out of hand. We have a fairly new scan coordinator. For those non grocery store workers, the scan coordinator is in charge of hanging tags, ensuring they are correct, etc etc. Well ours takes it upon herself to do extra work that isn't needed which means we have to do extra work that isn't needed to fix the work she did.
Last night I put a buggy full of items that she marked as "misplaced items" back on the shelf. All but SIX items went. We are constantly having to get her to make tags for items that are not new items (aka we've had it for awhile and it has a home on the shelf but no tag for it AGAIN). Then we are having to pull duplicate tags for items. Duplicate meaning two places for the same item.
THEN another department takes it upon herself to take items we have on a cart and throw them across several of our pallets instead of putting them up, or gah forbid, leaving it on the cart to begin with. She also like to refuse items that are her responsibility.
In our own department we have a manager who is constantly out, one co-worker who doesn't do a thorough job and has become witchier then a woman on her menstrual cycle (and I should know since well I'm a woman) but yeah.. just aggravating.
