How to stop loving a person?

Why would you want to? If the person has ditched you.. then you just try to get over the pain.. love is a good emotion.. so there is no need to stop loving.. the (emotional or physical) distance will take care of it..

That is true, it's hard to stop loving someone. If she/he gives you pain, that is temporary emotion, it will pass and give her/him another chance.
