We have been enthusiastically watching ,waiting for the winners of the prestigious oscar award. But there have been some unlucky superstars who yet not been able to set their hands on the coveted oscar.
1.Brad Pitt: The actor who played an iconic character in troy sadly unable to set hands on oscar.
2.Leonardo DiCaprio:the actor who portrayed an iconic character in titanic in 1997,blood diamond, wolf of the wallstreet in 2013,catch me if you can (2002).sadly he too is oscarless.
3. Johny Depp:the actor who plays iconic character pirate captain jack sparrow in pirates of the caribbean series is OSCAR less.
4.Will Smith:the actor who play a iconic role in men in black, pursuit of happiness.Sadly he too is OSCAR less.
5.Tom Cruise :the actor who plays the iconic role of ethan hunt in Mission Impossible series,he has also starred in movie Valkyrie.Sadly he too is OSCAR less.
So guys why do you think these actors have been OSCAR less?Do they miss anything? Are they lacking anything?Or it is just their fate??!!

I think it is due to the fact that there are so many talents that only one can be chosen. Also the fact that much of hollywood is already rigged who will get awards. Unfair but true.

@mkrnex I believe that some things are yes..already pre planned..I do not think that people who win are always based on talent. Just my opinion Manish. Yes rigged is cheat already.

Sometimes I think the Oscar goes to an older actor even though the younger actor deserved it more. I think, in my humble opinion, that they should have a separate Oscar for those older stars for their "body of work." They used to do that, I think. All the stars you just mentioned are excellent actors and are deserving of an Oscar for their talent. I think if we looked back over the years, we would find that the person who won the Oscar, was probably an older actor who may not get another chance to earn it, so the younger actor loses out.
I don't know that to be a fact, but it just seems that way to me.
I also wonder if the "voters" of who gets the Oscar, have actually WATCHED each movie that the nominees were in, so that they could make a definite decision.

@IreneVincent In Bollywood that is the case. Only such serious movies get awards for best actor. No actor gets the award for great comic starring role or action hero role!!

@mkrnex Yes, I think you are right about the TYPE of movies that snag the awards, but the actors awards should be based on their acting and not the type of movie they starred in. I do get your point, though.
