Disney cartoon movies to live action.

I know they have done this in the past and recently what with Cinderella being a major one that just came out. They have also tried doing Peter Pan into live action better known as "Hook." Now they are releasing a live action film called simply "Pan" and I just saw a trailer for the new live action version of "The Jungle Book." I thought they already tried this one once before? :shrugs: Anyways what are your thoughts on this? I will probably see them just because I am a huge Disney fan and am curious to see their versions. But I also feel Hollywood is running out of ideas...

Producing a film of a fairy tale such as Cinderella or Peter Pan is fine, but trying to get actors to play cartoon characters is a real problem. This was proven when they made Fred Flintstone with a real cast. However, I was quite impressed with the actors in the Scooby Doo films.

I actually quite enjoyed The Flintstones movie. I loved the cast lol. The 2nd one seemed like a big flop though.

I already heard about these live actions, but I never saw any.. Maybe I should take a look and see if it's good or not. I like disney movies although there's a long time I don't watch any of then(Last one was probably Frozen I think?). I don't know what to think about it, maybe some movies could turn into good live actions and some not(Movies that would need too much special effects like Aladdin for example...) But who I am to say that, maybe I can get impressed..
